We are committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsible sourcing practices to protect the rights of workers and the communities from which we source. Our program framework drives ongoing improvement through measurable and actionable insight.
Just Group Ethical Sourcing Policies
We recognise that policies are only one part of our work in safeguarding human rights in our supply chain.
Policies alone cannot sufficiently mitigate the modern slavery risks and vulnerabilities workers face in the countries we operate in.
The Just Group Supplier Ethical Code of Conduct as been written using the key human rights principles from International Labour Organization (ILO) core standards and The United Nation’s Guiding Principles on Human Rights (UNGPs).
All suppliers must sign our supply Terms and Conditions, of which the COC is part, prior to any orders being placed.
Built alongside the COC, the Key Principles of Ethical Business Conduct reinforces the key non-negotiable principles of conducting business with the Just Group. Created as a one-page resource to ensure suppliers are aligned with our approach to ethical ways of working, this document is shared with all suppliers in their local language.
Our policies are reviewed annually to ensure the Just Group is proactively addressing human rights issues or legislative changes that need to be updated in our policies.
Supplier Relationships & Sourcing Locations
We share our customers' full engagement in understanding where products come from, how products are made and the way that people who manufacture those products are treated.
With this in mind, we directly source from International factories and suppliers with whom we work in close partnership. We also source through several local importers. The factories that produce product for the Just Group are located in China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Pakistan, India, Indonesia and Taiwan.
The Just Group values the strong supplier relationships that have been developed over many years and considers this a competitive advantage.
We also partner with and have fostered strong relationships with a range of global and local national brands through the Just Group business.
Ethical Sourcing Program & Requirements
The Just Group Ethical Sourcing program & supplier requirements are set out for our Tier 1 final stage production factories. As we continue to trace the other tiers in our supply chain, we will actively set further guidance for these other stages.
Our Ethical Sourcing program for Tier 1 factories has a number of comprehensive requirements that are implemented with our strategic partner LRQA.
- Annual 3rd party audits for all factories – Elevate Responsible Sourcing Assessment (ERSA) or other approved audit types.
- Remediation and corrective action plan management – to close out non-compliances found in audits.
- Production verification assessments – to ensure product is only made in approved factories.
- Anonymous worker sentiment surveys – to understand the experience of workers within factories.
- Amader Kotha helpline – to provide an external, trusted and anonymous channel for workers to raise grievances which are remediated
Modern Slavery Reporting
The Just Group has zero tolerance to modern slavery in all its forms. We recognise our responsibility in helping to reduce the incidence of modern slavery.

Living wage
A Living Wage will provide workers with compensation for a regular working week that meets their basic needs as well as a level of discretionary income. In addition to compliance to local laws, we strongly encourage all suppliers they work with to pay workers a living wage. Community
Through continued collaboration, we are proud to work alongside a number of community organisations through financial and in-kind support programs.
We support both brand and team level fundraising for a number of important causes.
Thread Together
Our five apparel brands plus Peter Alexander have worked with Thread Together since 2022. Thread Together was founded on the idea that unsold clothing should be donated, rather than disposed, providing new clothing to people in need, while also protecting the environment.
RSPCA & Paw Justice

Supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation
Just Group has been supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation via their ‘Go Pink’ campaign since 2016 through various fundraising efforts. To date Just Group have raised over $150,000 for this important cause and look forward to continuing this in years to come.
